Scarecrows at Clarendon Road Primary School
The Eccles, Monton & Winton Scarecrow Festival was held this weekend (26th & 27th September 2020) and was organised by Megan Dwyer on behalf of Clarendon Road Primary School. She did a wonderful job and so many people in the local community got involved.
We followed the trail around Eccles, Monton and Winton to see as many of the fantastic homemade scarecrows as possible. All the scarecrows were inspired by different characters in children's favourite story books. It was lovely to see the community come together by building a huge variety of scarecrows, we were pleased to see so many other families that joined the trail for a fabulous day.
Me and my family had a lot of fun and we look forward to participating again in the future. Thank you to Megan and to Clarendon Road Primary School, and to all the families that joined the Scarecrow Festival.
